HAWAII PACIFIC SOLAR GRANT APPLICATION FOR PROJECTS RELATING TO SOLAR ENERGY, PHOTOVOLTAIC TECHNOLOGY AND SUSTAINABILITY
*FOR AIEA COMPLEX SCHOOLS :
Hawaii Pacific Solar (HPS), the company that installed a photovoltaic system at your school,
wants to help teachers use the PV system for education in science, math, environment &
conservation, social studies, industrial engineering, natural resources, health, etc. To that end
HPS supplied a real-time PV monitoring system and has curriculum materials available on this
website.
This grant is intended for projects that help students apply the knowledge they have gained
in their classes and to understand the relevance of solar energy and sustainability to their
lives.
Grants are available up to a total of $2,500. HPS will award one to five grants for the Aiea School Complex for the fourth quarter 2013-2014 school year.
Deadlines:
Feb. 19, 2014 – Application due
Mar. 3, 2014 – Grant notification
Mar. 7, 2014 – Check ceremony at school
